Simpson Mania

Everybody I know who blogs is clearly more intellectual than I am, because they're all talking about Harry Potter. I have only ever read the first book and seen the second movie. But I have seen the Simpsons. A lot.

I'm pretty sure I won't spend upwards of $11 to watch the antics of mustard-yellow people for over an hour. But you know, your brother tells you about a website where you can find out what you'd look like if you were a Simpson character, and how can you resist?

You can't. You know you can't. Here's the link, just to prove it.

Hello Jenn

I can truly tell you.I will not spend the money to see a movie from the fox network. I would if it was from CNN. I also think we are losing site of the issues, and we as Americans need and want more crap than any other nation the simpson's included. Thanks

Oh dear goodness, what is all that yellow stuff on the floor??

Um, sorry for blathering all over the place about HP the other day in your comments section. Very rude of me!

I did it. It's so funny! I even put a birthmark in the left earlobe for realism.

Love it! Love it! Love it! You inspired me and I usually don't go for the what kind of (fill in the blank) would you look like. I'll have to post mine now that it's done (although it will pretty much give away my identity, won't it?).
Thanks for the fun!

Kristin, I do think we as a nation think we need a lot of stuff that is, at the end of the day, rubbish. And I'll agree that this little "what I would look like as a Simpson" was kind of a waste of time. But on the other hand--the right amount (whatever that is) of light-heartedness is also good for the soul.

Christianne--I am, of course, at Homer's nuclear plant. (You can see him gagging on something in the background.) Whatever the yellow stuff is, it's sure to be radioactive.

Also. Please don't apologise for talking about Harry Potter. I don't mind at all--it's just that I can't, and I was explaining.

Craver--are we going to get to see this masterpiece?

AMM--Yay! I'm glad you liked it/did it! And um . . . I'm pretty sure we won't really be able to recognise you from it, unless maybe we've already seen you. Which I'm pretty sure I haven't.

Yes I can.
But then, you're not my brother, so perhaps it's a moot point. And the "you can't resist" means I must.

YCW--I was wondering when someone was going to point that out. That I'm not their brother, I mean. Or maybe the other part, too.
